Background

Our research has shown that there are an increasingly large number of people with serious substance use disorders (SUD). Many of which are senior executives, business owners, professionals, sports and entertainment celebrities and public figures, who feel that they cannot seek assistance in traditional rehabilitation facilities.

At Śuruvāta our medical specialists in addictions, have concluded that one of the main reasons people are not seeking help is that they are misinformed about what can be done to help them. The Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse reports that individuals pursuing treatment should have access to evidence based high-quality services. In reality many programs that are currently available in Canada lack a solid scientific foundation and instead are based on beliefs or experiences of addiction.

Statistically, only 2 in 10 people seek any type of help. There are many reasons why the other 80% don’t seek assistance, but at Śuruvāta it is our belief that many people are just not happy with the treatments available on the market, particularly people who are at specific social levels – hence why Śuruvāta is being constructed and the Jivana Philosophy was developed.

Prolonged alcohol and drug use alters blood chemistry and the chemistry in the brain, doing damage, can take weeks, months, and even years to reverse. As a chronic, relapsing condition, there are no quick fixes for addiction.

THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE AVERAGE PERSON EXPECTS TO GO TO TREATMENT FOR 30, 60, OR 90 DAYS AND BE CURED!

This is nothing but a set-up for relapse. At Śuruvāta, our success will be based on our industry leading holistic, client-centred, evidence-based recovery program – Jivana Philosophy, not traditional treatment philosophies, that have not demonstrated their level of success.

With our revolutionary Jivana Philosophy, our success will speak for itself!
