Alastair Taylor

Alastair is a successful serial entrepreneur, having started, run, and sold businesses in the direct marketing, advertising, sales promotion, publishing and online media segments. He has experience in a full spectrum of management, consulting, volunteer, philanthropic and supporting roles in – partnership development, sales promotion, sponsor engagement, new business launches, online strategic planning, NGO marketing, and a full range major event and public relations coordination roles.

Most notably, Alastair was the founder and President of Taylor Made Advertising, a Toronto-based advertising agency focused on brand development, print media for corporate communications and market positioning for companies including: The Toronto Blue Jays, CN Tower, Metropolitan Toronto Zoo, OSRAM Sylvania and Mailboxes Etc. with annual billings of C$10 million. In addition, in 1997, Alastair created the SmartMoves publication, which was an information and marketing magazine and website targeted at new movers, and which was co-marketed with Canada Post across Canada. Canada Post purchased the SmartMoves business from Alastair in 2005 for over C$1 million.

Alastair now focuses his time on motivational speaking and assisting executives with Business Development through his Training and Coaching company – Taylor Made Coaching. And is an active marathon and ultra-marathon competitor.

He is a lifelong auto-racing enthusiast, having participated in a variety of amateur racing series for over 30 years, and served for three years as the chief race organizer of the Toronto Molson Indy.

He is also been a passionate part-time professor in marketing and business management with Seneca College, leading their business and entrepreneurial curriculum for over 20 years.

Antony Von Palleske – Managing Partner

Antony von Palleske

Drawing upon his skills from a vast career in music, entrepreneurship and major business ownership, Antony brings with him a wide range of management and start-up experience. Beginning his career as a fashion model in Toronto and Beverly Hills, he gained an intuitive understanding of the media business, which catapulted him into a uniquely diverse career.

In the early years Antony gained extensive experience in the music industry having been a worldwide recording artist with BMG Music Canada for his band “Juice”.

After his music career and as a result of a family business involvement and passion for the arts, he then rescued a condemned heritage building in Whitby and after fully renovating it, opened a highly successful regional art gallery – Antony’s Gallery.

After many years of successful ownership of the gallery he partnered with Le Nordik in 2008 and became an active partner in North America’s premier day spa business. Driving the establishment of what will soon become “North America’s Largest Destination Spa” in Whitby, on the old Cullen Gardens property, Antony is the driving force and Managing Partner of this industry leading facility.

As an active outdoorsman, Antony is a Level 3 ski instructor, waterski instructor, sailor and active marathon runner. However, not satisfied to simply work in the industry he eventually started and operated his own traveling waterski school.

Antony is a father of three, community leader and visionary in all that he is involved with!

Shannon von Palleske – Chief Operating Officer

Shannon von Palleske

As an experienced administrator, motivational staff manager and skilled negotiator, Shannon brings a wealth of experience gained in the commercial real estate industry over the past fifteen years. She is also an excellent relationship builder and team leader who understands people’s needs and develops solutions to address their personal and business requirements.

Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a unique understanding of the real estate market and its impact on the ROI of successful businesses. She is skilled at formulating effective strategies for comprehensive business solutions and develops winning strategies for all involved.

Shannon has well developed project management skills with strong goal orientation and the ability to deliver projects on time combined with an extraordinary ability to remain organized and focused at all times while adapting to changing environments.
